Unless you've been living under a rock Pokemon the last few weeks, you'll by now know that Pokemon GO is here and is taking the world by storm.

We thought we'd celebrate by holding a Pokemon themed 3D design and print competition! The rules are simple, design anything and everything related to Pokemon that is 3D printable for a chance to win. We're giving away a Nintendo 3DS XL Pokemon Bundle worth $250 to one lucky winner!

The more interesting and creative the better, you could sculpt your favourite Pokemon, or design something to help you play the game, like John Cleaver's viral hit - Pokeball Aimer.

If you've submitted a Pokemon design to MyMiniFactory already and would like to enter it into the competition, then update your design or try a new iteration!

Dates

  • Submissions open - 26th July 2016
  • Submissions close - 26th August 2016
  • Voting opens - 5th September 2016
  • Voting closes - 12th Sept 2016

Submission

  • If your design is in multiple parts, please make sure you submit all parts (as STLs zipped into a single file) with instructions or diagrams of how they fit together.
  • As long as your design is in some way Pokemon themed it will be accepted into the competition
  • Your design must be printable on a desktop 3D printer
  • You can submit as many entries as you like
  • This is a global competition and you can enter regardless of your location

After submission

  • All entries that meet the requirements will be hosted by MyMiniFactory.com
  • Designs will go live as soon as they are validated by the MMF team
  • All STL files will be made available to download for free
  • Ownership of designs will remain with the uploader
  • Winners will be decided based on votes of logged in users
  • One Download equals one vote
  • Multiple votes by the same user or IP address will not count
