In order to get the base to print right, you will need to print with raft and supports for the entire model, The base is not totally flat, the first few layers end up bridging. If you don't mind the extra supports and a little roughness on the bottom of the model, it will print fine. I personally like my objects flat on the bottom so they sit on a surface better, this is how I modified it to my liking. Alternative Method: Cut off the bottom .15 of the model with software, make sure to repair the model and all holes after. Something free like Ideamaker software if perfect for this situation, simple and fast. This will allow you to print directly to the build plate without raft or any supports, for the base section, which is how I printed this. Make sure you have supports ENABLED for the rest of the model, read below! Printed this at 125% scale, .0809 layer height, 40 mm/sec, 30% infill 5 top/bottom layers, 3 shells. Will require lots of supports and I recommend a raft as well to help hold supports to build plate. You MUST add manual supports if you want to keep details in the print, examples would be the belt strings, the armbands, the weapon, the feathers that come from the ear, hand/finger area, and a few around the nose area. Auto-support will not catch these or do a sufficient job at it. Another thing to note, I printed this also at 75% scale with success, there are no thin layer issues on this model, it prints precisely like it should. A very rewarding print, I really enjoyed this one! One of my favorites for sure.
