Designed to celebrate May the 4th be with you Day!!!
Be your own Death Star architect! Create your own Death Star patterns with the Star Wars Death Star Slide Puzzle.
Remixed from Israel Melendez's Death Star tiles, https://www.myminifactory.com/users/IzzyMel or roy ang's https://www.myminifactory.com/object/scifi-diorama-tiles-1-72-scale-29722 that I am thinking he was inspired by Tom Spina's awesome designs for a home theater:http://gizmodo.com/turn-any-wall-into-a-death-star-with-these-mix-and-matc-1465236444 .
I loved the idea of star wars tiles, but wanted a way to print a bunch and keep them contained so that I could move them around for different patterns, kinda like a big fidget. I used ClassyGoat's slide puzzle template. http://www.thingiverse.com/ClassyGoat/about and lined up the tiles as best I could.
I added a "solution" image for those who want a solution, based roughly on the number of objects/shape of what is on the tile. Ideally someone will make a star wars puzzle that will have a really nice elegant solution of matching tiles.

Each of the puzzle pieces are actually two pieces one on top of the other...Meshmixer also see two parts. I loaded them into tinkercad and then exported back and it fixed the issue. The issue is called "Non intersecting surfaces" and will make for a very weak model. Piece #2 is completely missing the bottom half.!!!!
