Description
A Subtlety, or also known as The Marvellous Sugar Baby, is a 40-ft figurative sculpture made of sugar by Kara Walker in 2014. This is the centerpiece, complemented with smaller sculptures surrounding it, on display at the Domino Sugar Refinery. The figure depicts an african american woman in a form resemblant of a sphinx.
