I am currently employed as Design Engineer for a Hydraulics company designing control valves for mobile and off highway vehicles.
I studied computer aided product design and gained my degree in 2002. I have 15 years experience working in design roles. My experience ranges from 3D CAD, Rendering, Sketching through design development, prototyping and analysis. I have also had experience in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
I really enjoy taking my designs from ideas through to creating and finishing the final model.
In March 2017 i received my first 3d printer - An Ultimaker 3 and have been learning ever since, in 2018 i wanted to continue my learning journey in additive manufacture and produce more end use products as well as continue producing replacement and obsolete parts. I also wanted to increase the level of content i create.
